About

A middle-aged woman in a pink jumpsuit sits on a dark teal velvet couch, with a painting of a harbor at sunset on the wall in the background.

I am a painter and mixed media artist based in Vermont.

I grew up in Maine. My mom was a prize-winning art educator and talented artist who kept an easel in the kitchen for us kids to use while she cooked dinner.

When I was 12, I sold two paintings and used the proceeds to pay for an oil painting class at my local university.

I went on to study art history at Dartmouth College (BA) and the Courtauld Institute of Art at the University of London (MA).

Today, I work primarily in acrylic on canvas to create landscapes, portraits, and abstracts. I also explore various modes of printmaking and frequently use my printed materials to make abstract collages. I just love exploring color and texture!

You can see my art in real life at the Bank Street Gallery in Lebanon, New Hampshire as well as at various markets and exhibitions.
